Role overview
A Clinical Scientist apprenticeship trains you to work at the highest technical level in NHS or independent healthcare laboratories, applying science to diagnose and monitor disease. You will design and interpret complex clinical investigations, contribute to service development, and support clinical decision-making across areas such as genomics, medical physics, or clinical biochemistry. Completing this Level 7 programme puts you on track to apply for state registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
