Role overview

The Cleaning Hygiene Operative apprenticeship develops the skills and knowledge to maintain clean, safe and hygienic environments across sectors such as hospitals, schools, offices and transport. Apprentices learn to use cleaning equipment and chemicals correctly and work to professional standards. It leads to senior operative, cleaning supervisor or specialist hygiene technician roles.
