Role overview

A Science Manufacturing Technician (2023 standard) supports and carries out technical operations in science-based manufacturing such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, chemicals, or medical devices. Apprentices develop practical skills across production, quality, and laboratory activities, working within a regulated GMP environment. This level 3 qualification leads to senior technician, quality assurance, or specialist operational roles.
