Role overview

The Chartered Town Planner degree apprenticeship trains you to become a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI), qualifying you to shape how land is used and developed in towns, cities and rural areas. Apprentices work on planning applications, policy and development projects in local government or the private sector. It leads to senior planner, development management or planning consultancy roles.
